This is our home-away-from-home for the next five days. It's an awesome deal – NZ$20/night and it's right on the beach, with a pool. We haven't figured out how many other people are here – they keep coming out of the woodwork, but it's a gorgeous location and everyone seems really friendly. Plus there are hammocks down by the beach, and that's pretty much all I need!Rarotonga's about 32km in circumference, pretty much a circular island, and our hostel is located on the western side. It's the main entry point for the Cook Islands - the international airport is surprisingly busy, if tiny.
