For all my complaining, I’m actually really glad we signed up for housekeeping. In addition to the free housing, we’ve made some awesome friends from all over the world – Spain, Wales, Ireland, Vanuatu, India, Hong Kong, Korea, China, England, Germany, Brazil, Samoa and Australia are the ones I can remember, but I’m sure there are even more.Our hostel, ACB feels like home now – nearly every time I go by reception, pop in to the kitchen, step in the elevator, or even walk down Queen Street I see someone I know and we get to talking about something interesting.
